BarCamp Sarasota is excited to partner with GWIZ - The Science Museum for our two day Spring 2011 Unconference.
Pre-register here and admission and lunch are FREE.

Shortly after our event, GWIZ will be unveiling the Fab Lab, an advanced digital design and fabrication laboratory that allows community members access to high-tech tools in order to actualize ideas through design and fabrication. These Fab Labs are often found at universities and incubation centers but Sarasota will soon be home to the first and only in the southeastern United States. Come get a sneak peek at the Fab Lab and enjoy the creative energy released in the open space format of a BarCamp event.
Join regional professionals, students and hobbyists with expertise in technology and innovation from new media, green technology, software/mobile applications and more as they share cutting-edge advancements with an emphasis on economic development and impact.
Registration for speakers and guests begins Saturday, April 30th at 9am.
The first sessions begin at 10am.
Saturday at GWIZ concludes at 5pm with an after hours following.
Sunday begins again at 9am with the event concluding at 3pm.
Lunch is FREE...Bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic lunch by beautiful Sarasota Bay!
BarCamp Sarasota's mission is to build community with a focus on technology, education and economic development. Pick a topic to share or learn. There will be panel discussions, demonstrations and engaging conversations. Last year's event attracted over 300 people.
